That feeling of car sickness I had yesterday turned into so much more. I haven’t left the house today let alone my bathroom. Bummer. I need a tranquilizer. Isn’t it nice that you can’t catch human viruses over the internet. We can sit in the comfort of our homes and still go shopping, google old boyfriends and spew our daily thoughts out to strangers who, hopefully, might care.
Okay, since I’m new to this blogging world, I’m going to admit that I don’t know any of the dos and don’ts. In fact I don’t even know what lol means. Lots of Love?, Long or Low?, lustful or lonely? Someone fill me in here, please? I don’t even know any others to ask about. What are these abbreviations?? Can I make up my own? I’m feeling totally ooi (out of it) or ify(I feel Yucky) iagtp(i am going to puke). Hummm, what am I thinking about? Figure out this one, hdw’suwy? We should all start making up our own. What a great way to communicate.
Well, the babe is crying and pulling on my arm so forcefully it is getting difficult to type. Later ya’ll

lol is laughing out loud… and i don’t know a lot of the abbreviations either.
Hope you feel better soon.

Ooh! You are too funny (not about the stomach bug thing, hope you are better, soon!) but about everything else! I have been reading your sister for many moons, and now I’m bookmarking you! I’ll be back…great blog!

Dramamine, Dramamine – it is my friend.
kwim – know what i mean
roflmbo – rollin’ on floor laughing my butt off (you can substitute and ‘a’ for the ‘b’; actually I subbed the ‘b’ for the ‘a’
dh – dear husband
ds – dear son
dd – dear daughter
ds5 – dear son 5 years old
(dh, dd, ds are boring, some come up with a nickname if they want a bit of anonimity)
btw – by the way
imo – in my opinion
imho – in my humble opinion
there’s more, many more, but I agree – let’s make up our own. that sounds more fun. I like making people read my mind; just ask my husband.

You totally should start making up your own – you could start a whole new trend!

http://www.acronymfinder.com/ is a good site to find the meanings of unknown acronyms, though I don’t know if it’ll help with those made up ones!

Wow, thanks. I don’t think I could ever remember all of those. Now we all know where we can go to look acronyms up. Thanks Bro!

Hi, and welcome to blogging. I am pretty new myself, though I’ve been reading your sister’s blog for, wow, over a year, maybe almost two. Hers is the first blog I ever read.
I’m still trying to figure out the do’s and don’ts myself. How much do I say? Do I really go all out and tell all of my [weird, radical, crazy] opinions, and risk offending people I know and care about, or do I just stick with the day-to-day monotony, filling it family and friends, but boring anyone else who might stop by to tears?
Lately I’ve been getting a little braver—in fact, I just posted a treatise on breastfeeding in public, and I keep slipping in my weird parenting beliefs. But I’m constantly worried about what people are going to think of me!
Blogging is weird. Publishing your journal to the world wide web? Yeah, weird.
Oh, and I’m in Utah too, so we’re not too far from each other. Also? I don’t know how to be concise, so here’s to really long comments! Sorry! I’ll go now!
