I’m due for a new blog but I am sure feeling uncreative this morning. My little buddy just screams when I sit down at the computer. I guess he has learned that I become pretty unresponsive when I’m here.
I felt like an Easter Pooper this year. I bought the kids some Easter outfits but that is as far as I went. No baskets, no candy, no goodies, or little toys. I figured why spend the money on junk food and toys we just plumb don’t need around the house. So Saturday night the hubby asked me what I had planned for tomorrow.
Nothing, I replied.
Well, he wouldn’t have it. He ran to the store to buy a bag of candy. “You better not buy any Peeps!” I yelled after him.
When he came home I told him we didn’t have any Easter baskets anyway. I must have thrown them out when we moved. So he had to use the basket that was holding magazines, no fake grass included. But I don’t think the 3 year old knew any different. She had a blast searching for her candy that daddy hid and now she is protecting her basket from the little guy with her life.
Well, that is all for now. The buddy can’t take this any more and besides I have mounds of laundry awaiting me. Doo doo Doo doo (sung to the Jaws theme song)

Wow, your kids are just the cutest things I’ve seen all morning. Great outfits!
Well I managed to do the candy, but we all looked like crap at church. I bought their outfits and they looked stunning LAST week. This week I didn’t manage to get anything clean and we’d lost Jake’s tie.
Ah well.
I can’t believe how grown up Emma and Isaac look, especially Isaac. I think I almost bought the same dress for my girls. Ended up with different ones but they were so dang cute, even new matching shoes. We did eggs and candy and guess who is eating it…
It’s great when kids are too young to know what they’re missing, isn’t it? They’re not in school yet so they don’t hear about all the things they’re “supposed” to be getting! My daughter got some plastic eggs filled with . . . stickers! Yes, stickers. Because the package of Rolo’s I bought fell behind the fridge. And hubby was not moving the fridge.
I just wanted you to know that the emails I send to this address all get rejected, even when I’m replying to yours. Do you still use your hot mail account?
