I’ve been working on this layout all afternoon. The Buddy is awake so that means no more scrapbooking. sigh… This page is puzzling me. So I thought I’d put it out there to be critiqued. I’m not in love with it so don’t be afraid to hurt my feel goods. Is it too grungy for a babyish page? Do I need to rearrange the pictures better? Get rid of the swirlies or do you like it? Honesty, please!
A Critique, please?

I like it. . .I don’t think it’s grungy at all. And I think the swirlies give it a nice feeling. The only part I’m not wild about are those little yellow lines in the top right corner. Why? I have no idea
Do you really want honesty? Cause I don’t want to offend…
I’m just thinking maybe less patterns? And maybe the font is a little distracting?
Speaking of too many patterns… last night after my husband came home from work I caught him wearing green plaid pajama pants, brown plaid slippers and a blue plaid shirt. Funniest outfit ever!
I like the layout of the pictures and the safety pins.
Hope that helps.
I kind of like the different color palate because it highlights his outfit. I actually think I might like the wording more in the top right corner. Just to make it easier on the eyes and then have the pictures laid out from there.
I do think the page concept is adorable though and I can’t believe your baby is walking around that much at 10 months!
I don’t know much about digital scrapbooking though. How do you do it? Just upload pictures and work with all those little pieces on the computer? Do you still have to buy paper? Do you print out the pages or leave them online?
Sorry to ask so many questions I am just curious about how it works.
Good luck with the page!
IMHO: Lose the swirlies, different font but a great lay-out!!
Blue or brown with the dots instead of the yellow. I’ll shut up now…you asked.
I like it. Very funky.
I like the swirlies… and the font. I’d find a different color for the font and picture outlines– the black seems a wee bit dramatic for me….
I think I might try a different font. Fun paper, I like the swirlies and the basic layout (gives me ideas)!
I especially like, um.. love, the cute little Buddy.
