One thing after another…

Arggg, it just seems to be one of those days. Hurray for nap time!

Emma pinched her finger between two rocks and got a whooper of a blood blister. It must have been super painful because she screamed forever. She’s finally okay and seems to think it is pretty cool because she is showing it to everyone. She wanted me to take a picture of it. Last month when kerflop was in town with the kiddos, Jake couldn’t stop talking about his blood blister (say it in a in a little ratball boy voice) BLOOD BLISTER! (so jess, why don’t you show this to Jacob?)

So, I was super grouchy this morning and was hollering at the kids to hurry up and get in the car. Jer called me to see what I was up to while I was loading up the kids. I was ready to get off the phone but he wanted to know what I was up to. I hopped in the car and was backing up as I told him what errands I had come up with just to keep myself busy. Emma was screaming in the background about something dumb (how much she missed Aunt Kristi because she didn’t get to say good bye)… Well, don’t combine grouchiness with cell phone talking and screaming children because this is what happened.

I ripped the rear view mirror off with the garage wall. I screamed! Jeremy was willing to let me off the phone after that. Argggg… I was so mad… with myself. One of those stupid moments when you just wish so hard that you had a rewind button. Argggg….

Well, I continued to run my pointless errands. When I merged onto the freeway the mirror started flapping in the wind and scratching up the side of the car so I tried to tape it together with some rock climbing tape. It’s all I had in the car. It didn’t work. I feel MAJORLY getto! Argggg… STUPID!!!

On the positive side of things… Emma made some major improvements at soccer on Saturday. Threatening to take her favorite doll, Bida, to the DI must have worked (although I was totally against the idea.)

She told us that she wasn’t going to kick the ball but she’d run after it with the other kids… We were ecstatic! She didn’t cry once. Go Emma!! Here’s some cute pics from Saturday.

Uggghhh! I am so sorry about your rear-view. I know that rewind button feeling. I was wishing it the other day when I put my favorite sweater in the dryer and it shrunk.

    1. Jake’s mouth dropped open and he said, “THAT IS THE BIGGEST BLOOD BLISTER EVER!” and then he lost interest completely.

    2. Sorry about your mirror but I’m totally giggling over taping it with rock climbing tape. HEE.

    3. Bida. *snort* Darn that Jeremy and his bribery. I’m going to have to try that now.

Emma did awesome on Saturday. We are looking forward to tomorrow. Cross your fingers! We are on snack duty. Sorry about the car. Go real getto and pull out the duct tape.

I once knocked my sideview mirror off clean off in similar fashion. I got a little too close to a rather unforgiving bush backing out of my driveway one day when I was late for work. I heard a plunk but didn’t notice what had fallen off until I was half way to work and I happened to glance over to see behind me! Whoops. I found it that evening, sitting in my driveway.

And that blood blister is awesome!

Ouch with the finger and the car! A few weeks ago, I backed out of the garage and swiped the side of our other car, so now we have two dents on each car. It was so frustrating, so I totally understand!
