Mary tagged me with this meme. I thought it had some interesting questions so I went for it.
What were you doing 10 years ago?
I had just graduated from high school (yes, my ten year is this summer, scary!) I was getting ready to go to my first summer term at Ricks College in Idaho. I hadn’t been accepted so I was going to weasel my way in by doing a summer term. It worked and I had a blast.
What were you doing one year ago?
Packing up a semi truck with every precious belonging that I owned. I was going to move to UT and surprise my mom. Wow, I had really mixed emotions. I was leaving behind beloved family and friends for my mom, cheaper housing and the mountains.

Do it if you want…

Okay, I am seriously cracking up. Units?!? I haven’t thought about those in years! Both of my sisters had clothes from there and I would always borrow them. The 80s–what were we thinking!
What’s a unit?!?
Hey, I am catching up on my blogreading! 28, I don’t feel bad at all for guessing 24. I suppose we are best friends now..heehee.
I have leakitis too. I hate it that my dream is a more absorbent tampon than super plus and leak proof panties.
I am lost as to what a unit is as well. Could not possibly be worse than leg-warmers. I was aound in the 80′s so whatever they are, I bet we just called ‘em sumpin’ else.
Units were these awful all cotton outfits. Our moms usually made them but there was actually a store that made them too. They were usually very simple and had boat necks and a banded belt that coordinated (My friend and I would often pretend they were tube tops.) An outfit would often be a purple shirt, a pink belt and purple pants(which were of course tapered.) Then to top off the outfit we’d wear two layers of socks; pink and purple. Each foot the opposite of the other; pink on top of the purple sock and the other being purple on top of pink. We looked so hot!!
