What I’ve been up to

Hello world! I’ve taken a little break from the blogging world. I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit. The longer I stay away the easier it is to think “Gosh, I just don’t have time to blog today.”

But alas, I figure it’s about time to catch up. So, how are you? What have you been up to my dear blogging world? Christmas preparation I would guess… Ya, me too. I’m not the kind of person to that has sooo much to do or buy or prepare for. But things have come up…

For instance…

I’ve been helping a few friends and family with their Christmas photo cards. It’s been kind of fun and given me practice with my photoshop skills. I’ve discovered that peoples styles and preferences are so difference. Something that I thought looked nice turned out to not be the favorite of my “customers” or visa versa, something they liked I didn’t. Oh well, I spent way to much time editing these photo cards but what the hey!! I’m a push over (Nothing new, I already knew that.)

I’m just about done with the Christmas shopping. I just have a few last things to put together. The kids were easy. Jer and I just went to Target one date night and piled all the toys on my list in the cart… Actually I kept piling and Jer kept putting things back but we finally found a happy medium.

This past week I (or I should say Emma) had 3 birthday parties to attend (one party was twins.) That doesn’t include my Grandfather’s 80th birthday celebration nor the work Christmas party Jer and I attended or… Jer’s extended family Christmas party. Gosh, you’d think I was all partied out. All of these birthday parties were little boys turning 3 or 4. Come on people!! what was going on in March of 2003 and 2004!! Oh yea, we have another little friend, yes a boy, having a party at Chuckie tomorrow. That’s a grand total of 5 little boy birthday presents that we had to purchase in this wonderful month of December.

Jer and I went to the climbing gym the other night and they had a slide show going on about these secluded people in Siberia that have developed their own style of climbing. It was nuts actually, and we met the Americans that went over there to climb.

They’ve made this you tube about the experience. It’s pretty cool.

I just looked at some of your flickr photos on the right. Is your couch from Roomstore? I swear we looked at one just like that and almost bought it. Okay, we did buy it, but before it was delivered I changed my mind and found another one somewhere else.
