For years our brother in law has been trying to talk the family into having a family stomp (a UT term for a dance (usually for youth)). We all just laugh thinking about how ridiculous it would be and knowing he couldn’t be too serious. (Keep in mind – we are all grown and married adults.)
The New Years Eve party at our house got a little wild… I think something was in root beer. I couldn’t help but grab my camera. I told them all I would post it here.
The best part is when I showed Jer the video -he thought himself a real good dancer. I laughed until I was gasping for air. He’s the one that looks like a broken robot.
At the end of the night people were making plans for the hip hoppin mix they were going to make for next year. Can’t wait.

It’s a little dark… but I think you get the idea.
We ARE sorry we went home! Looks like so much fun! You know how I love dancing in the kitchen!
Hee, hee, ho, ho! My sister in law has a movie of Eric and I singing together. I need to destroy that video. Or you know, post it on the internet.
That is AWESOME. Save that for posterity. I had some flashbacks to Oakton Stake Dances, too.
