Okay, so I saw a super cute tutu at a mall kiosk a while ago. Looking closely at it, I realized that it was very simply made. I though.. gosh, I can do that!
So I went to the fabric store today and bought 3.5 yards of tulle and an 3/4 inch elastic band. Emma had so much fun playing in the fabric that she was sad when we started to cut it up. Opps.
With my mom and sister helping, we cut the tulle into strips and tied them onto the elastic band that was sewed into a circle.
Waaa Laaa. Here is the end result… This is my gorgeous little sister modeling the wonderful tutu. He he… Emma said that she’d rather have a princess dress. Drats. So much for my efforts in being a fun creative mom. Her face looks pretty happy so hopefully the tutu will grow on her.

Very impressive, Amanda! You’re so creative and have adorable models for your work
Genious! One day I will have a little girl, and will need to call upon you for all of your great ideas.
Oh yay! I need to do this. Emma is Disney’s dream target audience. Hee.
That is too cute!! I think I will make me one…heehee…
It is so creative!
hello to you all…:)
