I have made it home from Idaho. For some reason the trip has complete worn me out. I have been loving sleeping in my bed ever since (you know how it is after a vacation…) Unfortunatly, my night time sleeping hasn’t been that great. Emma has been waking up in the night feeling yucky or hot and then she wakes up early on top of that.  When I finally realize the night is over and it’s time to get up, I crawl out of bed feeling like I’ve been gilted out of a good night sleep. Hopefully this week I’ll catch up.

Jeremy is going on a buisness trip in two weeks to Southern California and we are all going to go! Woo hoo! I have a question for you all…

Do you have any tips, must sees, or fun secrets for Disneyland, LA and San Diego areas? I am kind of nervous and already feeling tired about it all. I’m going to be on my own for a couple days while Jer is working. I would like to know what are good activities for a 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy?  What can I do that wont be totally overwhelming? I went to Disneyland when I was ten and don’t remember a thing about it except spinning in the tea cups. Any recomendations would be awesome!!

On a side note; if you downloaded template #6 earlier, some people had technical difficulties so I’ve fixed the link.

Sounds like a fun trip — we are actually contemplating taking a year-long assignment out there for hubby’s job. I found this blog that looks good, hope it helps for ideas.

Hey I think we will be there at the same time then. We head to San Diego on the 6th. I can get the scoop for you from my sister - she seems to always be doing lots of fun stuff. Maybe we can have a beach day together or something.

How exciting to go on a trip with Jeremy. I would take the kids to the beach. I don’t have really any tips since I only have a baby and haven’t been to California in a long time. So I experienced what you experienced with Emma when she was a baby at 3:00 a.m. Imogen woke up like she normally does to nurse. She wakes up usually between 3 and 5 am. she wouldn’t nurse and started to cry and it turned into a scream. I didn’t know what to do and why she was crying. I gave her Tyenol, and Mylecon and nothing calmed her. She screamed for a good hour!! until she finally nursed back to sleep and then she slept great the rest of the day. I think I may be paying for eating asparagus or something at Easter dinner that upset her. I couldn’t imagine having that happen every night and I hope it won’t. How did you ever get through it??

    Hey Poopie!
Dawnie emailed me to look at the cute highschool post with my picture. CUTE! How fun! Maybe some day I will do a blog again. :) My boys totally loved Sea World and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. AND the San Diego Zoo. There is a combo park pass that you can buy for all 3 and you get a better deal. Everyone told us to wait on Disneyland until they were a little older, although Miss Emma would love the princesses. Anyway…email me if you have any more questions. Oh yea, we loved Catalina Island too. We just went out on the beach by the big famous hotel and no one was there and it was really clean. Love ya!

If you’re driving, and you need a stop in vegas don’t forget about us. We’d love for you guys to stop in here. We’ll have a clean bathroom and free food!

I has been years since I have been to San Diego but they use to have one of the best zoos in the world (at least to me it was, lol). You may want to check it out for a down day with the kids :)

    Thanks for a great template.

The Zoo and Seaworld are a must. I think the zoo would be easier on your own.

    Have fun!

We just got back from San Diego. We had a ton of fun at Sea World and The wild animal park. I would have to say though the girls had a ton of fun playing in the sand and building sand castles.
We didn’t make it this year but I have heard Lego Land is way cool for kids. I hope that helps some.

Manda- My kids loved Lego Land! I think it was my favorite. It was totally geared for kids who like exploring over spinning. We thought it was the highlight of our trip, after the disney parade, of course. Lego Land is about an hour south of L.A. I think. Have a great trip!!! I’m totally jealous. I think we are doing zip for spring break! See ya, Macy

I bet your young kids would love lego land. Shorter lines than Disneyland….

I’ve never been to their Sea World and Zoo but I take the kids to ours all the time by myself. Totally do-able. Lego Land sounds fun.
