I hate picking out baby names. This terrifies me because it such a big commitment. This poor kid is going to be stuck with the name I choose forever.
We are getting super close to having this baby so I figure that it is time to perfect my short list. With the past kiddos, I have made a short list and then can never commit or make a final decision. After the baby comes, Jeremy helps me by making the final choice. Thus he picked both Emma and Isaac.
I thought it would be fun to have a little poll and you all can vote for your favorite name. Now, I’ll tell you that we like more traditional names. We like them to be gender specific and I like everyone to know how to spell them. Pretty boring, eh? We also do not know the gender so vote for your favorite boy and girl name. Well, with that said…
We have always had our name picked out but it does have to be more traditional and the most common spelling. Oh yeah and our have to be ‘R’ names. So far we have Rebecca and Rachel who are here with us and we lost two boys Russell and Roy. We know what other boy names we want but are not really sure for other girl names. Hope the poll helps you pick a name out.

Ok, I know this sounds dumb…but I really love your names Emma and Isaac because they have something in common…they are both 2 syllables and have a repeating letter. You get the same thing with Hannah that’s why I voted for it. But you don’t have a boy’s choice that lends to it. I voted for Gavin, but I don’t know if it goes with the style of the other names. I know too many Aiden’s right now so it seems too trendy and not a good fit for your other names. What about Aaron? Or Elliot?

I love the name Ethan for a boy, always have! The names Ava and Hannah are pretty, but also very trendy right now. That is why I picked Leah, Savannah is gorgeous too!! I am sure the name you pick will be the perfect fit for your baby anyways. Do you watch the show “John and Kate + 8″? Because 3 of your names are from the show. I can’t wait to meet your new baby! Nina is here finally. Nina and Legrand moved to Provo a couple of days ago. After you have the baby we will come up and visit you!
