New and improved?

I have finally made a new blog header. What was suppose to be a quick change took me way too long but it’s been forever since I had put up the last one and the fussy picture of Emma and Isaac just wasn’t cutting it.

… but I’m not sure I like this one is any better. I start messing around and resizing things like a million times. I’m super finicky like that and when I’m working with a canvas that is 72 pixels instead of 300 then I think resizing things over and over is what makes things blurry. Oops.

While I’m on blog header mode, I was wondering if there were any digital scrapbookers out there that would be interested in templates for blog headers and little side bar buttons and such. Would you be willing to pay a buck for them?

Also, I have it on my to do list to make a new 2010 calendar. I’m starting to see 2010 calendars all over the place. I love the calendar I made last year and gave the template away for free but, my dear fellow scrappers, it took me forever to get those templates ready so I’m also wondering if you’d be willing to pay a buck or two for a spanking new and improved 2010 template  calendar? I’m a hard working gal, you see, and little Leah only likes playing with her toys for so long.

Anyhoo, have a lovely Halloween. Drop me a note if you are intrested in headers or calendars. I’m off to make soup for my spooky Halloween guests.

Ooo ooo.

Oh love your new blog header… soooooooooo pretty. Good luck for the new ventures too.

  2. I think your new header is cute. If you’re looking for suggestions, I’d say it needs to be wider – closer to the width of your two columns. I’d also suggest moving the text links (home, archives, etc.) to the right-hand side so that you can move the header up a bit and it doesn’t overlap with the circle.

As far as the calendar templates go – i think it’s a great idea. I probably won’t use it because I prefer a larger size calendar but I love everything you’ve put out and I’m sure you’d have a ton of interest!

I think you should charge for it!
