Lucky Card

Hey everyone. I whipped up a little St. Patties Day inspired card to share. I’m usually never on top of a holiday like this so enjoy it while it lasts.

I made the card 4 inches x 5.5 inches so it would fit one of those standard cards from the craft store. After covering the template, I flattened the card and dragged a couple card fronts to a 8.5×11 sized canvas. I printed them at home on white cardstock. On my printer I have to make sure I pick a borderless print so that the size of the card will not be altered. I then cut and pasted them on the cards. Worked perfectly and was so easy.

Oh, and I made the word lucky into an alpha instead of a font.

I was thinking that if I had more time or was a super duper hybrider, I would remove the clover from the card and print it separately, then add it to the card after printing just to give it a dimensional/paper scrapped kind of look.

If you’re interested download it by clicking here and then please leave me a comment.

*edit: Oops, somehow I mess up when I saved this file and it isn’t a psd.
*edit again: Download has been fixed as of 3/15/10 at 11:35 mst. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks for stopping by.

absolutely adorable, thank you!

Love this card, and thought it would be great to give to my hubby on Wednesday. :) However, I tried to open it and it said it was an unknown file type?

I’m having the same problem as Carolyn, the file is an unknown file type and I can’t open it. I’m using PSE7. It’s really cute, and I love the kit you used too, it’s one of my favorites.

Thank you for sharing!
