Sheesh, spring time gets busy around here (even if it is still snowing every other day.) There’s been a lot of running around lately. Here’s a couple of highlights from my past week-
I’ve had family in town. Yea for cousins!!
We’ve started spring soccer.
I gained a new nickname, Metal Mouth.
Here’s a before shot:
(note the space between my top and bottom teeth- that gaping hole is the reason I’ve gotten braces. I’m looking forward to finally eat ham sandwiches without the ham sliding out on to my chin because I can’t bite it with my teeth.)
After:
(Hip hip hurray! Sort of. Yes, they are the clear kind. I’ll get the bottom ones on in May. Let me admit, though, how silly and foolish I feel as an adult having braces. I’m not quite used to them even though I had them at 14. I think it’s much easier as a teen when all your peers have them too. I also think that our pain tolerance as teens is much better. Ouch!)
That’s it for now.
ps. My ankle is doing much better. It’s still stiff but I can walk almost pain free. Yea. I haven’t tested it yet. That’s the scary part. I’m anxious to get exercising again. I’m afraid my bottom is starting to get larger by the day. Yikes!

What beautiful mountains in the background of the soccer picture. Must make the snow in April almost worth it.
